Contract R&D Scientist
A leading medical device company seeks a Contract R&D Scientist to join their Research and Development team on a short-term basis. This role focuses on the development, verification, and validation of analytical lab test methods for a new Class III combination product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, verify, and validate analytical lab test methods for injectables, hydrogels, polymers, etc.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
* Provide technical expertise in HPLC, Dissolution, GPC, and other relevant analytical techniques.
* Troubleshoot issues associated with HPLC, Dissolution, GPC test methods and equipment.
* Contribute to the development of analytical tests like Karl Fisher, NMR, GC, DSC.
* Ensure adherence to GLP guidelines and quality standards.
* Review analytical protocols, reports, and data reports for accuracy and completeness.
* Participate in lot release decisions based on analytical testing results.
* Stay updated on industry regulations, particularly USP and ICH guidelines.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation.
* Proven track record in developing, verifying, and validating analytical test methods for injectables, hydrogels, polymers, etc.
* Hands-on experience with HPLC, Dissolution, GPC, and other relevant analytical techniques.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for HPLC, Dissolution, GPC test methods and equipment.
* Experience in developing analytical tests like Karl Fisher, NMR, GC, DSC.
* Working knowledge of GLP guidelines and quality standards.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Environment:
This contract position is based in Limerick and requires 5 days of onsite work per week. Remote work options are available when project requirements allow. The rate for this role is €35-45 per hour, depending on experience.
