Job Title: Systems Automation Specialist
The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical foundation and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the central control system to ensure optimal performance.
* Serve as Network Owner, responsible for servers, control system software, and communication networks.
* Design, develop, and implement software for projects and plant modifications.
* Perform software modifications, troubleshooting, PID loop setup, and tuning.
* Support engineers with control system issues.
* Carry out commissioning and signal checking for plant upgrades and projects.
* Maintain operator stations and plant visualization software.
* Coordinate the uploading of new software, patches, and upgrades.
* Collaborate with expert engineers from control system suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree (or equivalent) in a technical engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' hands-on industrial experience in control systems.
* Experience with PCS7, Step 7, Simatic Manager, and WinCC (or similar DCS/PLC environments).
* Familiarity with PLC programming languages such as CFC, FBD, and STL.
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems, network configuration, and IT security.
* Exposure to SQL and a high-level programming language.
* Understanding of system archiving/restoration and OT cybersecurity tools and practices.
