Strategic Support Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Strategic Support Officer to play a key role in driving investment and growth across the Northwest Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diaries, scheduling meetings, handling phone and email queries, and assisting with logistics for regional visits and events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage schedules, arrange meetings, handle inquiries, and coordinate logistics for regional engagements.
* Assist in planning itineraries and engagements for strategic development initiatives and investor visits.
* Develop high-quality materials, including reports, presentations, case studies, infographics, and promotional content.
* Maintain accurate databases, generate weekly reports, and support performance analysis.
* Oversee daily administrative tasks, such as invoice processing, document formatting, and communications.
* Collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work efficiently with digital tools and general familiarity with social media platforms.
* Capacity to remain calm and focused under pressure when managing multiple tasks or tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Openness to learning new systems, such as CRM tools like Salesforce.
* A third-level qualification is desirable.
* Experience using design and content tools, such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or InDesign.
* Some understanding of regional business development or a strong interest in Ireland's economic landscape.
* A full, clean driving licence is desirable.
* Willingness to occasionally travel and work outside regular office hours when required.
