The DeltaV Automation Engineer will support the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Emerson DeltaV DCS solutions within GMP-regulated manufacturing environments. This is a hands-on engineering role, working closely with Automation, Process, Validation, and Quality teams to deliver compliant and reliable control systems.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, develop, and maintain Emerson DeltaV control systems for GMP manufacturing processesSupport the full project lifecycle including design, development, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handoverDevelop and modify DeltaV control modules, batch configurations, and system graphicsSupport integration of process equipment, skids, utilities, and interfaces to MES and historian systemsParticipate in automation risk assessments and support GMP-compliant system designSupport CSV activities, including generation and execution of automation-related IQ/OQ documentationTroubleshoot and resolve automation and control system issues during project execution and operationsEnsure automation solutions comply with cGMP, GAMP 5, and data integrity requirementsSupport change control activities and system upgrades in a regulated environmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Engineering, Validation, IT, and QualitySupport regulatory inspections and internal audits as requiredAdhere to site EHS and safety procedures during commissioning and on-site activitiesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical, or related discipline4–7 years of experience working with Emerson DeltaV DCS in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environmentsHands-on experience with DeltaV configuration, graphics, alarms, and system architectureExperience supporting GMP-regulated manufacturing, utilities, or packaging systemsStrong understanding of GMP requirements, GAMP 5 principles, and automation validation practicesExperience supporting FAT, SAT, commissioning, and system qualification activitiesFamiliarity with batch processes and ISA-88 concepts is highly desirableStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
