They’ll take ownership of complex technical tasks, act as an escalation point, and play a key role in strengthening our security posture.In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, the Senior Analyst will proactively identify risks, suggest improvements, and contribute to the development of security controls, processes, and compliance initiatives. They’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and external auditors to maintain alignment with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, & ISO 27001, providing insights and recommendations into the wider security strategy led by the Security & Compliance Lead.Day-to-day, you will:Act as a subject matter expert for complex security incidents — investigating root causes, supporting long-term fixes, and keeping customers informed throughoutHelp customers meet security certifications and standards like Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001, guiding them through the process step-by-stepDeliver security awareness training and phishing simulations to help customers stay alert and informedSupport junior team members and assist in improving how we handle security incidents or requestsYour skills and experiences might also include:Experience with tools like Microsoft Defender, Intune, vulnerability scanners, and managing Windows patchingKnowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST, and experience helping organizations achieve complianceStrong documentation and communication skills — comfortable writing clear reports and explaining complex topics simplyAn interest in staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologiesWhat are we all about?The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organizations in the UK, Ireland, USA, and Asia Pacific.
