This role is an opportunity to join a team as an assistant in financial operations. The position involves assisting with the management of day-to-day accounting tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit card transactions
* Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
* Assist with monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
* Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely posting of transactions
* Support month-end and year-end close procedures
Requirements:
* Proven experience with accounting software
* Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and month-end procedures
* Experience preparing monthly management accounts
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools
