Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to service users with mental health difficulties.
The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams, delivering psychological group-based treatment programmes, conducting assessments and providing feedback, and supervising Psychologists in Clinical Training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care to service users with mental health difficulties.
* Work as part of multidisciplinary teams.
* Deliver psychological group-based treatment programmes.
* Conduct appropriate assessments and provide feedback to teams and patients.
* Supervise Psychologists in Clinical Training, Assistant Psychologists, and Staff Grade Psychologists as required.
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Recognised university degree or diploma (QQI level 8 equivalent) with 1st or 2nd class honours in Psychology as a major subject.
* Experience working in an adult or adolescent mental health service.
* Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including postgraduate training in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of €98,484 - €115,761 per annum commensurate with experience, annual leave: 27 days, pension scheme for eligible staff, probation: six-month review with extensions in line with EU Working Conditions, must be fit for duty and of good character, normal retirement age is 66. Written confirmation of completed recognised training in the Mental Health Act by commencement is required.
