I am looking for a
IT Operations Manager
to oversee IT service delivery and infrastructure projects. The company provides turnkey data centre solutions across design, construction, and commissioning phases, with a strong presence throughout Europe.
This role will focus on managing the relationship with outsourced IT providers (Managed Service Providers – MSPs), aligning their services with business needs, and acting as a key internal liaison for all IT-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and the MSP
* Oversee MSP performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
* Coordinate internal IT projects and manage escalations with the MSP
* Maintain oversight of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance
* Lead infrastructure initiatives (e.g. network upgrades, server migrations, cloud transitions)
* Monitor overall system performance and ensure optimal operations
* Report on IT metrics, user satisfaction, and service improvement initiatives
* Assist in IT asset management and licensing
* Support the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures
* Participate in strategic IT planning and service review meetings
* Maintain and improve documentation across systems and processes
Requirements:
* Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT coordination, service delivery, or vendor management
* Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences
Preferred Attributes:
* Experience working with or within a Managed Service Provider environment
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and endpoint management tools
* Track record of managing vendor relationships and service escalations
* Project management experience in cross-functional IT initiatives
* Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement
* Hands-on, proactive approach to solving problems
