Reporting to the Team Leader, you will participate in implementing the Claims Quality Assurance framework which will include comprehensive claims reviews, compiling succinct reports on findings with corrective actions documented and adherence to specific deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and promote the QA activity and ethos within the Department.
Conduct detailed Reviews on all types of claim files.
Identify quality and proactivity (including liability and indemnity) issues together with any regulatory or compliance issues.
Provide meaningful commentary and observations on Review findings.
Identify and complete key themed based Reviews arising from findings.
Ensure that all targets and Review deadlines are strictly adhered to.
Complete / Co-ordinate reporting and feedback with the relevant Claims Teams.
Education
Qualified Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) in General Insurance is desirable but not essential
Experiences
Skills:
Analytical skills and a very high level of attention to detail.
Have a clear understanding of risk, control and the purpose of Review processes.
Be familiar with: compliance requirements, legislation, and principles of QA.
Have extensive background in claims to include injury claims, pre-litigation and litigation claims handling and motor/ property claims.
Be familiar with claim handling processes and procedures
Demonstrate strong organisation and time management skills.
Be comfortable with change and flexibility.
Proficient in Microsoft applications

This role is a control function role with a CF5, CF6 designation.
