We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team two nights per week.
The successful candidate will:
* To work closely with Reception and carry out any request that they may have in relation to customer needs.
* To ensure all departmental S.O.P's, Hotel Policies and Procedures are adhered to.
* To ensure all corridors are clear from trays and debris.
* To operate floor polisher and have working knowledge of computers
* To clean and ensure the lobby and surround areas where Guest are, are left clean and tidy
* To answer the calls on Reception.
* Write any Health/safety or maintenance faults in the book at Reception
* To carry out fire walks during your shift and sign logs. Remove blockages
* To set-up rooms as directed by the Duty manager or assist other department with preparation for the following day.
* To maintain open communication line with Staff & Guests
* To be environmentally friendly and cost aware.
* To carry out additional duties as requested by the Night Manager / Duty manager
