Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.Permanent positionFull time (80 hours per fortnight)Managers and Administrative Workers Grade 3 Level 1 (HS3)Located at The AlfredGreat staff benefitsThe DepartmentAlfred Care Group is seeking a highly capable and experienced Executive Assistant to provide high‑level support to the Program Director and Director of Operations Home Acute and Community within our public health service.This is a pivotal role requiring exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to operate confidently within a complex clinical and operational environment.The RoleReporting to the Program Director and Director of Operations, you will manage the day‑to‑day operation of the HAC Executive Office, providing proactive administrative, coordination and strategic support. You will act as a trusted gatekeeper, liaise closely with senior clinicians and stakeholders, and ensure priorities are managed effectively in a fast‑paced public hospital setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProactive and complex diary and inbox managementExecutive support, gatekeeping and stakeholder liaisonCoordination of executive, operational and clinical governance meetingsPreparation of agendas, briefing papers, minutes and action trackingDrafting and formatting executive briefs, correspondence and reportsCoordination of projects, events and executive travelManagement of confidential and sensitive information with discretionQualifications And Experience RequiredMinimum 3 years' experience supporting senior executives in a complex organisation (health sector experience highly regarded)Demonstrated proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinical environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with Teams and SharePointHighly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and resilienceWhy Join Alfred Care Group?You'll be part of a respected public health organisation, supporting senior leaders who are committed to high‑quality care and community outcomes.
