About The Team:
Our project communications team is the market leader provider of public consultation and stakeholder engagement services in Ireland. We work in multi-disciplinary teams with project managers, engineers, environmental scientists, and planners.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Communications Manager to join our team for a 12 month period. In this role you'll work as part of a high performing team of professionals delivering public consultation and stakeholder engagement for clients in the water, energy, transport and buildings sectors. The successful candidate will work directly with clients and within multi-disciplinary project teams to design and implement effective public consultation strategies to inform policy and infrastructure delivery.
We are flexible on working hours and location with offices in Dublin and Cork. Hybrid working is also available.
Duties:
* Be a trusted advisor to our clients and your colleagues
* Manage 3-4 client accounts ensuring that outputs are delivered to programme, budget and scope
* Devise and implement strategic communications plans
* Manage stakeholder engagement to build trust and social acceptance of projects
* Support business unit management through business development and tendering when required
* Project resourcing and management of small teams of high-performing professionals to ensure project deliverables and deadlines are achieved
* Client relationship management
* Financial management and reporting
Required Experience and Skills:
* A highly motivated professional with a proven ability development and implement communications strategies and programmes.
Minimum 5 years of relevant consulting / agency / contractor professional communication experience to include:
* Experience of leading, motivating and managing teams
* Experience of collaborating as part of multi-disciplinary project teams
* Financial management - commercially focused with strong financial acumen
* Outstanding interpersonal, relationship management and communications skills
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; experience of communications through the Irish language is ideal but not a requirement
* A flexible and willing approach to travel for work at project locations around Ireland
* Strong interest in sustainability and climate action along with enthusiasm for infrastructure delivery
Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline. Academic qualifications include Communications, Geography, Environmental Science, Behavioural Economics, Law or Business.
