Role Purpose
The Financial Administrator reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner, enabling the achievement of strict financial close deadlines. This role plays a key part in guaranteeing the accuracy of information used in monthly financial reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
* Assist in the monthly accounts close process
* Support the accounts payable function, including monthly reconciliations, supplier queries, etc.
* Prepare client refunds on a daily basis
* Prepare bank reconciliations for various company bank accounts
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
* Contribute to a variety of projects
* Prepare performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
* Average Other Business (AOB)
Person Specification:
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated with strong organizational skills
* Demonstrate good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
* Be a team player
* Possess a strong level of verbal and written communication skills
* Show excellent IT skills
Qualifications & Experience:
* Working towards an Accountant Technician/Professional Accountant qualification
* Experience with bookkeeping is highly advantageous
