About the Company:
Our client is a well-established electrical contractor with a strong reputation for excellence in commercial and industrial projects. As we expand into the renewable energy market, we are now seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to help position us as a leading solar installation specialist in the Galway region.
Role Overview:
This is a key role for a commercially savvy individual who thrives in developing new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships. You will be focused on identifying, targeting, and winning new projects in the solar, construction, and engineering sectors, while representing a growing business that’s committed to sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar and electrical contracting space.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, engineers, and commercial clients.
* Develop sales strategies to position Greeco.ie as a specialist solar solutions provider.
* Conduct site visits and technical consultations in partnership with the project team.
* Work closely with estimating and project delivery teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project handovers.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within solar, construction, or engineering sectors.
* Strong hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and build a solid sales pipeline.
* Ability to understand technical products and communicate value propositions clearly.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the Galway region.
