This role offers an excellent opportunity for an underwriter looking to step up and broaden their experience, with exposure across both Property and Casualty lines.The position is focused on commercial P&C package business and is suited to someone who enjoys broker interaction, new business trading and developing their technical capability across a wider portfolio.Your RoleUnderwrite, quote and convert new commercial P&C package business in line with underwriting authorityTrade proactively with brokers to develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunitiesNegotiate terms and pricing while maintaining underwriting disciplineBuild strong broker relationships through regular face-to-face engagementWork closely with underwriting management, sales, distribution and cross-line colleaguesMaintain accurate underwriting records and compliance with internal standardsRepresent the business positively in the marketYour SkillsExperience underwriting either Property or Casualty / Liability business in a commercial environmentStrong interest in developing broader P&C technical capabilityA proactive and commercially minded approach to underwritingConfidence engaging with brokers and trading new businessStrong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyShould this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at Applications are in strict confidence.
