Role Profile Tirlnis offeringapprenticeship opportunities to currentleavingcertificatestudents andrecentschool leaversinBelview/Ballyragget.Tirlnhas a well-established and highly regarded apprenticeship programme, where apprenticeswill train for 4 years combining practical industrial experience and Solas/ETB run academic training.During this time,youllearn while you learn and receive mentorship from craft professionals atTirln. As an apprentice, you will: Maintain site process equipment, including utilities.Process equipment includesvarious typesof motors, pumps, valves, fans, chart recorders, processinstrumentationand packaging systems. Replace and repair defective mechanical & electrical equipment,instruments,and cabling whennecessary. Carry out all operationstoconform toGMPrequirements. Adhere to all health and safety policiesand procedures, including the use of theappropriate protectiveclothing. Under senior craft supervision you willcarry out scheduled PreventativeMaintenance(PMs)on process and utilities equipment-Workingon faultfind/troubleshooting with equipment such asflow meters,control valves,temperature transmitters, VSDs, Profibus, SCADA systems,pasteurisers, evaporators, drying systems, material transport systems and utility systems as part of a team and as an individual. Liaise with all Maintenance, Manufacturing, Project,Qualityand any other site personnel, to meet the siteobjectives. Provide feedback on equipment and spares issues. Fill out all requiredpaper worksuch as PM documentation, Lockout Tagoutpermitbook and adhere to all site protocols. Inform maintenance lead, shift manager or any relevant site personnel of impact of work being carried outandresultsof any issuesthat may arise. Provideaccuratereporting as necessary, including the use of computer maintenance system(CMMS SAP).
