We are currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a background in instrumentation or electrical systems and ideally pharmaceutical industry experience. The primary focus of this role is to conduct QA walkdowns of critical systems to ensure compliance with GMP regulations, engineering specifications, and project quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in system verification, and supporting commissioning and qualification efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct field walkdowns for instrumentation and/or electrical systems
* Perform quality checks on installation, calibration, wiring, loop checks, grounding, and labeling.
* Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, EU Annex 15, etc.).
* Review and confirm the traceability and documentation of instruments and electrical components.
* Identify and document punch list items; follow up on resolution and closure with project teams.
* Collaborate with commissioning, construction, and validation teams to support system turnover and qualification.
* Support QA review and approval of project documents, including test plans, protocols, and installation verification checklists.
* Participate in audits and inspections, providing subject matter expertise in electrical and instrumentation QA aspects.
* Maintain proper documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and internal SOPs.
