Regional Service Supervisor – Medical EquipmentField-Based | Connaught & North LeinsterFull-Time | PermanentOur client, a leading provider of medical equipment and healthcare solutions, is seeking an experiencedRegional Service Supervisorto lead and support a team of Field Service Engineers across Connaught and North Leinster.This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role combining technical service work with team supervision, customer engagement, and operational support. The RoleYou will be responsible for servicing and maintaining medical equipment including:Medical beds and mattress systemsPatient hoistsAssisted bathsDisinfection washersAcross hospitals, nursing homes, and community healthcare settings.Alongside your own service itinerary, you willsupervise a small team of Field Service Engineers, support departmental objectives, and deputise for the Area Service Manager when required. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver preventative and reactive maintenance in line with service proceduresSupervise, support and mentor Field Service EngineersAssist with scheduling, forecasting and service planningEnsure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standardsLiaise with service admin and customers regarding appointments and worksConduct engineer audits and performance reviewsSupport recruitment of new Field Service EngineersAssist with service contract renewals and asset lifecycle reviewsMonitor stock, SLA performance and financial targetsAct as deputy to Area Service Manager when requiredParticipate in MDT assessments and continuous improvement initiatives RequirementsEssential:Mechanical or electrical engineering backgroundHands-on field service experienceStrong understanding of Health & Safety regulationsFull Irish driving licenceExcellent communication and customer service skillsWillingness to travel with occasional overnight staysDesirable:Engineering qualification (City & Guilds / ONC / HNC / similar)Previous experience supervising engineersKnowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 systems What's on OfferPermanent, stable role with a growing healthcare providerLeadership progression and development opportunitiesCompany vehicle and tools providedCompetitive salary and benefits package
