We are seeking aProgramme Support Officerto play a pivotal role in the efficient operation and governance of a major strategic programme. Working directly with the Programme Director, you will provide high-level administrative, analytical, and governance support to ensure our workstreams remain on track and our leadership is well-informed.Key ResponsibilitiesGovernance & ReportingMeeting Excellence: Coordinate and schedule key meetings, from Steering Committees to team huddles. You will be responsible for capturing accurate minutes and proactively tracking action items.Board Pack Preparation: Quality-assure and compile comprehensive packs for executive meetings, ensuring all reports accurately reflect current programme status.RAID Management: Maintain the programme's Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) log, ensuring all items are assigned and actively managed.Document Control: Establish an organized system for programme documentation to ensure version control and team accessibility.Analytical & Data SupportExpert Data Management: Use advanced Excel skills to build and manage spreadsheets for tracking budgets, resources, and performance metrics.Performance Analysis: Conduct data analysis on KPIs and financial burn rates to support senior decision-making.Reporting Support: Assist Project Managers in consolidating status reports to maintain high reporting standards.Administrative & Communication SupportDirector Support: Manage diaries, travel arrangements, and general correspondence for the Programme Director.Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate smooth communication and information exchange between internal workstreams and external stakeholders.What You Bring to the TableExperience: Proven background in a Programme Support role, ideally within a complex environment.Excel Expertise: Advanced proficiency is mandatory. You should be comfortable with VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, and dashboard creation.Communication Skills: You are highly articulate and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders.Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality governance documentation and accurate minutes.Tech Savvy: Proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
