Ideal backgrounds include:• 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, with experience supervising or mentoring team members• Strong purchase ledger and supplier reconciliation experience• Experience in medium to high-volume processing environments• Strong understanding of approval workflows, controls and compliance• ERP experience within manufacturing or multi-site environments advantageous• Proven ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across production, procurement and finance teamsRole and Reporting LinesReporting to the Financial Controller, this role will lead a team within the Accounts Payable function and ensure high standards of accuracy and service delivery:• Team Leadership – Supervise and support AP team members, ensuring workload balance and performance standards• Invoice Processing – Oversee high-volume supplier invoice processing in line with company controls• Supplier Queries – Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of supplier and internal queries• Payment Runs – Coordinate weekly and monthly payment cycles• Reconciliations – Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are completed accurately and on time• Controls & Compliance – Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company policies• Process Improvement – Identify and implement workflow improvements across the AP cycle• Systems & Reporting – Support ERP optimisation and provide reporting to senior finance leadership• Month-End Support – Assist with accruals and reporting requirementsInterested in this position?To apply, please submit your CV to Emma Murphy, who is managing this assignment, via the link below.
