Role Overview
We are looking for an Inventory and Stock Management Specialist for a 6‑month contract on a large rail project in Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Inventory tracking and monitoring current stock levels using the company system.
* Ordering items.
* Ensuring stock is easily accessible.
* Accepting all deliveries of stock, ensuring that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
* Unloading and loading items for distribution.
Ideal Candidate
* Holds telehandler and FLT tickets.
* Confident, capable of working off one's own initiative.
* Self‑motivated.
* Able to demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving using a logical approach.
* Logical under pressure but must understand urgency and respond accordingly.
* Confident using IT systems and spreadsheets.
* Willing to attend external and internal courses as required.
* Good understanding of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
* Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with a good level of mathematical skills.
* Previous experience working on a rail project.
