A leading healthcare manufacturer based in Dublin are hiring an experienced Automation Engineer. The business provides high-quality medical solutions and services to the healthcare industry. This site has embarked on a large capital project to modernise its automation systems, presenting this challenging opportunity.This new role for anAutomation Engineer, will support sustaining manufacturing operations as well as projects. Specifying, purchasing, and managing the implementation of new manufacturing solutions to meet the requirements of customers' new product introductions.ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Automation Manager you will join an established team.Providing expert-level daily support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing automation systems to ensure uninterrupted live plant production.Oversee the full automation project lifecycle, from design and commissioning to system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and the creation of detailed documentation.Establishes relationships with the customers and equipment suppliers in pursuit of new business, product development, manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, and on-going business development.Ensuring all automation activities and systems maintain full compliance with strict regulatory standards (EU & FDA GMP).Work with all departments across the business to ensure that new processes meet their requirements.ExperienceMust have a minimum of a degree in engineering - preferably Electrical or Automation.Must have at least 5 years' experience in engineering.Must be familiar with the hardware and software components of DeltaV and PLCs - Preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens.Demonstrable experience working on a live manufacturing site in a GMP-regulated with the ability to troubleshoot and support live operations.Exceptionally effective communication skills are key to the success of this individual.To learn more about this role apply online or contact Aisling Clements on for a confidential discussion.
