Heritage Homecare is a dynamic Homecare company providing quality homecare to elderly people in their homes in the Dun Laoghaire, Deansgrange, Ballybrack, Killiney and surrounding Areas.
Looking for weekend carers in Dun Laoghaire and surrounding areas.
Our clients need companionship and light assistance with meals and exercise, or sometimes more specialised care like
dementia care and end of life care. We provide hourly visits, block hours, overnights and full-time care to our clients.
Central to the delivery of our services is the knowledge that it is our dedicated and professional carers who represent us.
With two locally based offices we have friendly and helpful office teams, led by Nurse Care Managers, and a positive
respected reputation in the homecare industry.
We are looking for caring and professional carers, and offer great flexibility and benefits for suitable candidates:
Hours of work:
* Full and Part time hours available to suit you.
* Full time hours realistically available for all successful candidates.
* Regular work to fill your hours of availability.
* Regular clients - no changes without notice and mutual agreement.
* Pay rates start at €14/€15 per hour, up to €17/€18 per hour.
* Pathway to rate increase after 1 year and 3 years.
* Higher rates paid for both Saturday and Sunday €16-€18 per hour.
* €11.00 paid for half hour visits (only if they work well for you).
* Paid Travel allowance.
* Paid Mileage.

Ideally you will have:
* A genuine desire to work supporting elderly people in their homes.
* Experience working as a Carer for at least 6-12 months.
* Genuine affinity for vulnerable elderly people.
* A mature and professional manner.
* QQI Level 5 Healthcare modules x 2, or equivalent, or willingness to obtain same.
* A related healthcare specialty - e.g. Student Nurses, OT's, Physios.
* Driving License with own car or bike or be travel savvy.
* Above average communication and interpersonal skills.
