Security Staff The Mercantile, Dublin City
PSA Licence Required
The Mercantile Hotel is preparing to open its doors in the heart of Dublin City, and we are assembling a professional and reliable Security Team to help set the tone for a safe, welcoming, and vibrant new venue. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team and play a key role in the smooth and secure running of our brand-new hotel.
What Youll Be Doing
* Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property across the hotel, bar, and restaurant areas.
* Monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining a visible and reassuring presence at all times.
* Supporting the team during busy periods, managing queues, and diffusing any potential disturbances with professionalism.
* Assisting with emergency procedures, evacuations, or first aid situations if required.
* Collaborating with the management team to uphold hotel policies and ensure a secure, respectful environment.
* Conducting routine checks and patrols to maintain order and prevent incidents
Requirements
* A valid PSA (Private Security Authority) licence this is essential.
* Previous experience in hospitality, events, or hotel security is a strong advantage.
* Calm, confident, and respectful under pressure with excellent communication skills.
* Approachable yet assertive, with good judgement and a professional manner.
* Flexibility to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* A team player whos reliable, discreet, and committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
