What you’ll do
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on automated testing and clean, maintainable code.
Contribute to cloud-native development on AWS, including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and production support, helping shape engineering standards and practices across the team.
What you need
Strong experience with full stack development, including Angular or React on the frontend and Java with Spring Boot on the backend.
Hands‑on knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools, ideally in a Kubernetes environment.
Solid understanding of automated testing, particularly REST API test automation in Java.
Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, with the confidence to provide technical guidance and collaborate across disciplines.
The practical bits
Location: Galway.
Work setup: hybrid, with one week per month in the office and the rest remote.
