Our client is a longstanding two-partner establishment based in Dublin, serving for more than 35 years. Recently, there have been shifts in management and staff, with a notable increase in workload spanning all practice areas. This practice is in search of a full-time part-qualified accounts and tax assistant. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in key taxes (VAT, PAYE, Income tax, and Corporation tax) to join the team.Role:Assisting with accounts preparation for a variety of corporate clients and sole traders.Preparation of company tax returns of a varying degree, including VAT and Corporation tax.Management of some payroll clients.Preparation of Income tax returns for a range of clients.Working closely with the firm’s head of taxation on a variety of specific tax cases, including matters related to estate planning, property, Capital Gains Tax matters and inheritance.Requirements:Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA).Part-qualified tax professional, pursuing the Institute of Taxation exams or planning to pursue the CTA qualification.Minimum 2 years in a practice environment preferred.Some previous experience in preparation of accounts and tax returns.Salary and Benefits:Salary dependent on experience but circa €30,000 – €40,000 DOE.Hybrid & Flexible working hours.Full study support package.Full exposure to senior / qualified accounts giving excellent on the job training.If you are considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Katie Garvey for a confidential discussion.
