This Position reports to: Local Division and M&S Manager, Service
You will lead the Project Management team of ABB Electrification Service Local Division in Ireland and support project managers in defining, implementing, and applying project management policies and work instructions. The role ensures consistent, effective project execution for both the local division and the Data Center Center of Excellence (CoE). The Data Center CoE for EMEA is a specialized team within the Electrification Service Division in Ireland, focused on driving best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement across the data center segment. It functions as a strategic hub for knowledge, support, and process excellence.
This role is central to the successful delivery of customer projects in Electrification infrastructure. You ensure that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards—from early customer survey and offer preparation through delivery, billing, and cash collection.
You will act as the bridge between local project teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Data Center CoE, ABB factories, and other key stakeholders. Your leadership ensures standardization, efficiency, and alignment with both strategic and operational objectives.

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by overseeing critical project delivery across Ireland and the EMEA Data Center CoE, ensuring excellence, consistency, and customer value.
Service Strategy
Contribute to defining and implementing the project execution strategy in alignment with global and regional business goals.
Define project management goals and deliverables in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Customer Focus
Ensure customer focus, responsiveness, and a strong sense of urgency across the function.
Maintain high levels of customer retention through superior delivery and service.
Drive continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points, including while on‑site.
Communicate opportunity insights to account teams using established processes.
Service Delivery
Ensure consistent project portfolio management in line with ABB policies, standards, and best practices.
Oversee project reviews and provide portfolio‑level leadership to project managers.
Take an active role in resolving escalations and removing barriers to successful delivery.
Ensure timely and correct project closure for all projects in the portfolio.
Define and drive optimized execution processes using ABB operations tools and standards.
Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately in ABB systems.
Achieve or exceed targets related to revenue, utilization, margin, and customer satisfaction through effective project delivery.
Qualifications For The Role
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of Project Management experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Project Management qualification (or working toward one) is desirable.
Proven experience working in multicultural and international environments.
Knowledge of Data Center customers and experience managing complex technical projects.
Strong ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability.
Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple demands in a dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles, profitability, budgeting, and commercial decision‑making.
Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering high‑value solutions.
Ability to analyze complex situations, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Strong capability in defining, implementing, and maintaining project management standards and structures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
