Project Manager – HV/MV Electrical ProjectsWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of HV/MV electrical projects from planning through to commissioning. The role involves managing safety-critical projects, controlling budgets and programmes, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful, compliant delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end delivery of HV/MV electrical projects (planning, execution, commissioning)Develop and control project programmes, budgets, resources, and risk registersLead engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders across all project phasesEnsure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and SHEQ requirementsCoordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activitiesMonitor progress, costs, KPIs, and provide regular reporting to senior managementIdentify and mitigate technical and commercial risksDrive continuous improvement across project deliverySkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsHighly organised, detail-focused, and commercially awareResilient, decisive, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressureCollaborative team player with a results-driven approachRequirements & Experience10+ years' project management experience within HV/MV electrical engineeringExperience delivering substation, transmission, or distribution projectsStrong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and national electrical standardsProven financial and commercial project management capabilityProficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera)HV experience advantageous but not essentialRenewables or grid modernisation experience is desirableEducation & CertificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related disciplineSafe Pass and full driving licenceProject or professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CEng, or equivalent) preferredSHEQ & ISOWork in line with ISO management systems and SHEQ policiesMaintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
