This Opportunity
The Investor Relations Service Associate supports investor and client servicing with a primary focus on transaction review and wire release activities. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant processing and supports day-to-day investor queries.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Review & Processing (~70-80% of role)
* Review and release wire payments in line with internal controls and approval thresholds.
* Review investor capital activity (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers) for accuracy and completeness.
* Partner with IR Ops to ensure month-end capital activity is completed on time and within client SLAs.
* Review and release investor communications (e.g. contract notes, capital call notices).
* Escalate processing issues that may impact settlement, reporting, or compliance timelines.
Client & Investor Servicing
* Act as primary IR contact for assigned client relationships and respond to investor and client queries within agreed SLAs.
* Coordinate with internal teams (Client Solutions, Fund Accounting, Legal) to resolve investor issues.
* Escalate client or investor issues that may delay transaction processing or reporting.
Controls, Risk & Compliance
* Monitor and resolve escalations that may impact AML, FATCA, or investor reporting.
* Identify control gaps or risk issues and escalate promptly to management.
Process Improvement
* Identify and report recurring issues in wire and trade review workflows.
* Support system or workflow changes related to IR operations as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 1-3 years' of experience in Investor Relations, Transfer Agency.
* Direct experience reviewing investor transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers).
* Direct experience reviewing and releasing wire payments.
* Experience in fund administration is an asset.
* Experience responding to client and investor queries within SLAs.
* Working knowledge of AML, FATCA, and investor documentation requirements.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive tasks.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple internal teams.
