The Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort which is part of the Cusack Hotel Group is currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable Restaurant Manager to join their professional and highly skilled Food & Beverage Team. Duties
To be responsible for the planning, organizing and control of Food & Beverage Service to the standards outlined in the Rococo Restaurant.
· Responsibility for accepting and correctly documenting any bookings for the Rococo Restaurant, Service orders and for keeping the restaurant Diary up to date.
· To ensure all appliances and equipment are used to specification and any problems dealt with immediately.
· To train all Team Members in the correct use of appliances and equipment.
· To assume responsibility for issued cash floats, till operations and banking of takings.
· To ensure that all Restaurant Team Members are fully aware and trained in the Standards of Procedures and Operations in all Restaurant Service Areas.
· To deal with any Restaurant Staff queries or grievances as swiftly and professionally as possible in line with Company Policies.
· To ensure all Restaurant Staff are in the correct, clean Uniform with Name Badge while on duty.
· Be responsible for roster and covers pending on business needs
· To control and maintain operational and labour costs within budget requirements.
· To ensure all new members of staff complete all the relevant forms on commencement with the Hotel.
· To report any incidents or accidents to H&S Officer
· To ensure that the correct levels of stocks i.e. crockery, glassware, cutlery are maintained and cared for in the department.
· Responsibility for the ordering, stocking and security of Wines within the Terrace lounge.
· The responsible service of alcohol in line with Legislation.
· To ensure that all opening and closing procedures in the Terrace Lounge Areas are conducted and completes in line with SOP's.
· To handle all keys for the Wine Cabinet/Till with care and ensure that these are secured when the Terrace is not in use.
· To be responsible for the daily cleaning and tidiness of the Restaurant Service Areas.
· To fairly and correctly delegate tasks & duties to the restaurant Staff.
· To ensure that all preparation is completed in advance of Service times.
· To ensure that the property of the Hotel is not abused in any way.
· To communicate Resort services to guests, upselling. To deal with any customer requests or complaints as swiftly and professionally as possible in line with Company Policies.
· To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the premises.
· To promote the Resort's Customer Care policy at all times.
· To assist in other departments if required to do so.
· To carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the management team.

Pay: €40,000.00-€44,000.00 per year
