SHEQ Manager Job Description
The SHEQ Manager plays a pivotal role in the company's environmental management system, ensuring that all operations are conducted with the utmost regard for health, safety, and the environment. This position requires an individual who is dedicated to promoting high standards of leadership in HS&E procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
* To manage and maintain the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
* To set the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of HS&E procedures and ensure compliance with company procedures and legal obligations.
* To report on the performance of the Quality and Environmental Management System and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
A minimum Level 8 Qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety and a Certificate Level in Environmental Management are required.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the civil engineering industry. A valid Safe Pass and/or SMSTS card holder is also necessary.
Skills:
The successful candidate will possess high-level administrative and IT skills, as well as experience in co-ordinating health and safety, ISO quality standards, internal auditing, conducting risk assessments, and corresponding corrective action plans.
