Job Overview
The successful candidate will lead the nursing team, ensuring delivery of high standards of care and developing staff through training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement quality care systems, monitoring individualised plans for each resident.
* Conduct internal audits and follow up on results.
* Provide initial induction and ongoing training to staff, encouraging innovative practice.
* Ensure adherence to company standards, procedures and guidelines.
* Monitor financial records and manage community unit resources.
* Establish good rapport with external agencies, maximising opportunities for the home.
* Document and investigate complaints, reporting outcomes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will require:
* Qualifications: RGN degree and post registration management qualification in health or a related field.
* Experience: 3 years' experience in older person care, including 3 years' management experience in health and social care.
* Registration: Registered on NMBI live register.
* Skills: Proven leadership skills, excellent communication and organisational abilities.
