Process Engineering Manager Job Description
The process engineering manager plays a crucial role in translating customers' process requirements into deliverable, cost-effective solutions.
This individual will work closely with internal and external design teams and project managers to influence and optimize design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand and document clients' process needs and draft high-level design concepts.
* Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet clients' needs.
* Collaborate with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
* Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
* Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of solutions.
* Develop documentation to support the assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions.
* Define standard product offerings that meet the needs of the water and wastewater treatment market.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
* Managerial experience of process or design teams advantageous.
* Commercial awareness ensuring product proposals are both cost-effective and profitable.
* Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to travel to customer locations.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Benefits:
€75,000 - €95,000 per annum, dependent on relevant experience
