Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Officer to support the Anatomy Department’s teaching and research at Trinity College Dublin.
The role involves technical support for anatomical practical teaching and research, maintenance of laboratory facilities, preservation, preparation and care of human cadavers, and delivery of practical class teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for all areas of anatomical teaching and research.
Maintain discipline laboratories.
Preserve, prepare, and care for human cadavers.
Deliver practical class teaching to students.
Qualifications
Honours degree in a relevant field.
Applicants with an MSc degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience may be appointed at Senior Technical Officer level.
New entrants will be appointed at entry level on the Technical Officer Pay Scale, €40,743 per annum. Staff already employed before 1 January 2007 may be considered for Senior level, contingent on experience.
Salary and Hours
Permanent contract. Salary: €40,743 to €61,557 per annum (Technical Officer Pay Scale). Hours: 36.5 hours per week.
