Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager Job Description:

* The position of Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager is a dynamic role that oversees the sales and marketing functions within two hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successful sales and marketing, be target and results-driven within the hospitality industry.

Main Responsibilities:

">
* Create and implement an annual sales and marketing plan to maximize revenue targets.
* Liaise with front office managers to develop seasonal, weekly, and annual strategies for room revenue growth.
* Manage all aspects of sales and marketing activities to ensure the hotels maximize all revenue channels.
* Execute the hotels' overall marketing, PR, and social media plans.
* Conduct competitor analysis and database management.
* Edit website content and create new content seasonally and in line with current marketing plans.
* Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns, including creation and analysis.
* Manage Corporate and Conference business strategy.
* Promote main events such as weddings, functions, communions, confirmations, party functions, etc.
* Maximize key revenue streams to ensure consistent usage of hotel facilities.
* Assist in creating and implementing the hotel's sales plan/budget on a quarterly and annual basis.
* Build relationships with potential and past clients through Business Development strategies.
* Customer relationship management and new business development via productive and targeted sales and marketing strategies and activities.
* Participate in weekly revenue meetings with the General Manager and Front Office Managers.
* Manage the wedding and events sales teams.
* Provide timely responses and communication to properties.
* Assess additional training needs based on data gathered and interaction with sales teams from property visits.
* Develop relationships within communities to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
* Manage marketing items such as posters, menus, brochures, deals, presentations, etc.
* Plan and launch offers and promotions in a timely fashion in line with the yearly calendar and marketing annual plan.

Requirements:

">
* A proven track record in successful sales and marketing within the hospitality industry.
* Target and results-driven individual with creative skills and excellent presentation abilities.
* Previous experience working as a sales and marketing manager within a 3*/4* property is essential.
* An excellent knowledge of the hospitality industry and its latest initiatives and innovations.
* Familiarity with financial reports.
* Strong people management skills.
* An outgoing personality to serve as an ambassador for the hotels.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.
