We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused
Procurement Administrator
to support our Domestic Stores and Warehouse Division.
This role is essential in ensuring the timely procurement of goods, effective stock control and smooth coordination between suppliers, internal departments and warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring smooth communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement, Ordering & Logistics:
* Place and manage purchase orders to ensure stock is ordered accurately, on time and in line with operational requirements
* Support the smooth movement of goods through the warehouse, from goods received to dispatch
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies
Communication & Cross-Department Collaboration:
* Maintain clear and effective communication with relevant stakeholders, ensuring key parties are kept informed via email and regular updates
* Work closely with Accounts, Warehouse (Goods In & Goods Out), Assembly, Sales, Service Repairs and Engineers to ensure procurement and logistics activities align with business needs
* Build strong working relationships across departments to support efficient operations
Documentation & Administrative Support:
* Accurately scan, record and store procurement-related documents including purchase orders, order confirmations, packing lists, invoices and delivery notes
* Track and confirm task completion, sending follow-up communications to ensure visibility and accountability
* Maintain organised and up-to-date procurement records to support audits and reporting
Internal Service & Team Support:
* Engage proactively with colleagues to resolve issues and support procurement-related queries
* Treat internal teams as customers, delivering a responsive, professional, and solutions-driven service
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment within the Domestic Stores and Warehouse Division
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or administrative support (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple departments
* Comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets, and documentation
* Proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability
