Salary: Base hourly rate: €18.54
Sunday: Double Time
Live Nights: Time and Quarter
Bank Holiday: Triple Time
What You Will Do
* To work within the framework of the overall objective of Focus Ireland and the Focus Ireland values.
* To work on a relief basis as part of a team within the framework of the policies and procedures in place for the project or as directed by the project leader, assistant project leader or section manager.
* To work in close liaison and co-operation with other teams within Focus Ireland and other Statutory and Voluntary Agencies as deemed appropriate.
* To record and maintain records on a relief basis in relation to the project and individual clients in accordance with statutory requirements and health and safety legislation.
* To attend and participate in team, review and agency meetings as required.
* To assist in the implementation of the settlement policies and strategies of Focus Ireland.
* To work in close liaison with and co-operate with other Focus Ireland projects.
* To undertake such other duties as might be reasonably assigned to you from time to time in consultation with the Project Leader
* To observe all Health, Safety and Welfare at Work regulations and notify management of any risks or concerns you may have in relation to same
What You Will Need
* A relevant Third Level qualification at degree level i.e. social care, psychology, sociology
* Proven direct work experience in relief/part-time work in a social care setting
* Experience of supporting marginalised clients/groups
* A working knowledge and understanding of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model
* Some experience of key working, assessments and care planning
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Reliability and flexibility
* Excellent report writing and IT skills
