Job OverviewOur Client, an Irish-based food production company, who specialise in contemporary bakery products, are seeking to recruit a Controlling and Reporting Manager to support its growing business. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and liaise with the Senior Management Team. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of the company. The Manager will lead the Controlling and Reporting function within the Finance department with two direct reports.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the financial accounting operations including AR, AP and GLPrepare and publish accurate management accountsStatutory reporting and liaising with external auditorsManage net working capital and cashOversee regulatory compliance (audit, tax, ESG)Establish internal accounting processesDrive continuous improvement of financial reporting processesMaximise the effectiveness of ERP system to ensure financial KPIs are available and actionedManage direct reports (2)QualificationsQualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA5 years PQERelevant work experience in a similar roleCore Skills/ AttributesAnalyticalProblem-solvingGovernanceAdherence to deadlinesIT/ERP SystemsCommunicationRemunerationCompetitive salary package on offer for suitable candidateOur client is an equal opportunities employee
