Junior Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid Working Model)
An Irish Microsoft Partner is looking to hire a Junior Developer to join their growing Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with early career experience in AL development or previous NAV/BC exposure to develop their skills in a supportive, project-driven environment.
Role Overview:
You’ll contribute to the design, development, and customisation of D365 BC solutions for a wide range of clients across different sectors. Working under experienced developers and solution architects, you will gain hands-on experience with modern tools and methodologies within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop custom modules and extensions using AL for D365 Business Central.
* Assist with upgrades, integrations, and system customisations.
* Work closely with senior developers and consultants to understand functional requirements.
* Support unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
* Learn and adopt Microsoft best practices and partner development frameworks.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Some experience or formal training in D365 BC development (or NAV) — AL language exposure is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
* Familiarity with SQL Server, APIs, or integration tools is a plus.
* Eagerness to learn and develop within the Microsoft Business Applications space.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Hybrid working from Dublin office (typically 2–3 days per week onsite).
* Tailored training and mentorship from experienced Microsoft consultants and developers.
* Exposure to real-world projects and client environments.
* Support for Microsoft certifications and career progression.
