Finishing Foreman – Residential Construction
Location: Sites across Co. Dublin & Co. Cork
Job Type: Permanent

We’re currently recruiting Finishing Foremen on behalf of our client for a number of prominent residential developments throughout County Dublin and County Cork. This is a fantastic chance for experienced and driven professionals to become part of a reputable team delivering premium housing projects across multiple sites.
Your Role
*
Take the lead in maintaining the highest Health & Safety standards across the site
*
Oversee subcontractor works with a strong focus on commercial awareness and scope clarity
*
Track progress against delivery schedules and critical project milestones; flag and mitigate potential delays
*
Conduct regular site inspections and proactively resolve on-site issues
*
Ensure all site paperwork is completed accurately—inductions, sign-offs, and issue tracking via the DMS system
*
Coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet commissioning, testing, and handover targets
*
Direct snagging teams to deliver high-quality completions on time
*
Manage daily records for labour and material allocations
*
Assume full responsibility for units from the plastering stage to final handover
*
Actively engage in daily planning meetings and collaborate with site personnel
*
Maintain control over snagging lists and ensure timely closure with subcontractors
*
Communicate with the Site Administrator, Completions Coordinator, and Sales Team to keep unit progress on track
*
Deliver excellent service to homebuyers and prospective clients
*
Address aftercare issues quickly and escalate repeat concerns to the relevant team
*
Promote a professional, client-focused culture throughout the build process
What You Bring

Background in a construction trade is a plus
*
Strong track record of delivering results under tight deadlines without compromising quality
*
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
*
Exceptional attention to detail and solid organisational abilities
*
A team player who can also work on their own initiative
*
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once
*
Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
