Transport Planner - Logistics Coordinator
A leading logistics company based in Dublin North seeks a permanent Transport Planner to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate daily trailer loads between the UK and Ireland, ensuring efficient routes and schedules.
* Liaise with drivers, hauliers, and clients to provide live updates on shipment status.
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, including invoicing and other related admin tasks.
* Collaborate closely with the warehouse team for seamless loading and delivery instructions.
The successful candidate will have experience in transport planning or coordination within UK-Ireland logistics.
They should possess strong customer service skills, good IT proficiency across MS Office applications particularly; previous knowledge using transport management systems would be an added advantage as is a working understanding of groupage logistics operations along with excellent organizational skills capable of managing workload effectively.
