The Role
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen team, maintain the highest culinary standards, and help drive the continued success of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen
* Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
* Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
* Contribute to menu development using seasonal, high-quality ingredients
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
* Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
* Step into kitchen leadership in the Head Chef's absence
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
* Background in high-quality or fine-dining kitchens
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment
* Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
