TTM Healthcare are recruiting an Operations Manager to operate across two nursing Homes based in Limerick.
This is a full time permanent contract.
Salary: €105,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of two nursing homes located in Limerick. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a compassionate approach to elder care. We are ideally looking for an operations manager who comes from a clinical background.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of two nursing home facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
* Ensure compliance with all Health Service Executive (HSE) regulations, HIQA standards, and other relevant legislative requirements.
* Manage and support nursing home management teams and staff to deliver high-quality resident care.
* Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures.
* Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
* Foster a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
* Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
* Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies as needed.
* Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, quality, and compliance to senior management.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in operations management within healthcare or elder care settings.
* Knowledge of nursing home regulations, standards, and best practices (HIQA, HSE).
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Relevant qualifications in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field are preferred.
* Flexibility to travel between the two nursing home locations as required.
