Job Title: IT & Data Audit Specialist
AIB Group is seeking an experienced professional to join our Group Internal Audit (GIA) team, specifically the IT & Data Audit team. As an IT & Data Audit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's data governance, data management, and data protection practices align with industry and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Data Risk Identification: Identify data risks in AIB, including inputting to the wider audit plan, enabling GIA to provide adequate assurance of the controls in place to mitigate data risks.
* Control Assessments: Assess controls in place to ensure AIB meets regulatory expectations in relation to data controls, engaging with senior management and the Board Audit Committee.
* Internal Audits: Lead internal audits to challenge data risk-related internal control processes and business areas, ultimately improving the control environment in AIB.
* Reporting: Produce reports documenting issues identified and issue them to the business in line with agreed timelines.
* Process Improvement: Continuously adhere to and improve the Internal Audit process.
Requirements:
* Audit/Accountancy Qualification: Currently holding or willing to undertake qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CISA.
* Data Governance Experience: Minimum two years in a data governance or data risk management role with knowledge of risk management methodologies.
* Financial Services Knowledge: Practical experience of providing assurance or working knowledge of key risks within financial services.
* Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulations relating to data management, such as GDPR and BCBS239.
