An established IT solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join its team. This is a senior technical role involving project delivery, support escalation, and mentorship within a dynamic environment supporting cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
You'll work closely with clients, lead medium to large-scale projects, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality IT services.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for customer infrastructure-both remotely and on-site.
* Act as a senior escalation point for technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
* Oversee and deliver IT infrastructure projects, from planning to implementation.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
* Maintain regular communication with clients and key stakeholders.
* Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers.
Requirements:
* Strong proficiency in:Microsoft 365 and Microsoft AzureWindows Server, Active Directory, SQL ServerVirtualisation technologies (., VMware, Hyper-V)Networking, firewalls, and endpoint protectionBackup solutions and disaster recovery planning
* Experience with Hybrid IT Environments (Cloud + On-Prem).
* 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
* Third-level qualification in a relevant technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
* Full, clean driver's license (field work/travel may be required).
