Automation Specialist Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment within a regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the setup and testing of automated production lines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Perform routine, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automation systems to minimize downtime and maintain regulatory compliance.
* Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement equipment upgrades and improvements.
* Ensure all work is thoroughly documented in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
* Contribute to validation, calibration, and qualification of equipment and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in automation or maintenance roles, preferably in medical devices, pharma, or regulated manufacturing environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, robotics, servo systems, and vision systems.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GMP and ISO 13485.
* Ability to work flexible shifts and respond to production needs.
