Purpose
The Client Specialist is responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences, which enables the sales team build lasting relationships with our customers.
This role involves various activities aimed at driving sales and supporting the sales team effectively.
Additionally, the Client Specialist will serve as the primary support for surrounding Levin Mattress locations, assisting with daily sales and operations as needed.
This position acts as a training role for the Sales Associate position, with a maximum assignment length of six months.
Responsibilities
Successfully completes all core training required for Sales Associate role; demonstrates competencies required to excel in Sales Associate role.
Provides outstanding support to customers and sales staff to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Provides administrative and operational support to store team and neighboring Levin Mattress locations when needed.
Must be willing to work at nearby Levin Mattress locations as needed.
Completes daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as assigned by managers to support store team.
Develops and maintains positive working relationships.
Job Description / Duties
Participate in all store sales meetings.
Attends all Store vendor trainings.
Presents training to the store team in a weekend meeting for all to benefit.
Understand daily/weekly promotions and how to price merchandise accordingly.
Ad set and ad pricing on showroom floor.
Process transactions through the Storis (POS) system.
Assist customers and sales team with finance options and how to apply through waterfall porthole.
Utilize Digital Ups system and manage customer flow during open floor.
Knowledgeable of Platinum Protection Plan sales process and product.
Assist sales team on Platinum Protection Plan presentation and processes.
Must be a certified Sleep Specialist with thorough knowledge of bedding sales process, policies, and comfort trials.
Serve as the store's Social Media Specialist by leveraging global social campaigns and enhancing their impact through active staff participation.
Assist with store presentation standards, pricing, and floor maintenance.
Assist sales team with scheduling filled orders.
Assist sales team with transactions during open floor.
Engage incoming customer calls for sales as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications / Skills
Schedule - Flexibility/availability to work retail hours/scheduling including evenings, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
Basic reading and comprehension skills.
Basic numerical reasoning skills.
Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic PC skills.
Ability to work independently and diligently in a retail store environment.
Must have reliable transportation to work locations.
Education: High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and above.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and reach regularly.
Ability to climb stairs occasionally, dependent upon location.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Ability to use vision to read documents and computer screen.
Ability to use hands to type information into computer.
