Role description:

Arcadis is looking for an Architect to join its growing Healthcare Practice. The Architect will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the A+U business in the Republic of Ireland. The Successful candidate will Arcadis take a role in our healthcare team Projects and the management and running of a range of smaller projects.

Role accountabilities:

- Develop innovative architectural designs for healthcare and education facilities, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions
- Lead and manage project teams through all phases of design and construction, from initial concept to project completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Utilize advanced knowledge of building codes, regulations, and best practices specific to healthcare and education sectors
- Implement sustainable design principles and technologies to enhance building performance and environmental impact
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and consultants, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns
- Conduct presentations and meetings to communicate design concepts and project progress
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in healthcare and education design

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution
- Registered Architect with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) or the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)
- Over 3 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on healthcare and education sectors
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects from concept to completion
- Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards specific to healthcare and education facilities
- Extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary project teams, managing budgets, and ensuring timely project delivery
- Strong ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to achieve project goals
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and enhance user experience
- Commitment to incorporating the latest technologies and best practices in architectural design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and project updates to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative skills, fostering a positive and productive team environment
