Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist
About the Role
We are delighted to partner with the HSE to recruit a Senior Physiotherapist for a Primary Care Adult Service in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, community-focused team providing essential rehabilitation services to adults with a range of physical health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
* Deliver evidence-based interventions in clinic, home, or community settings
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, nurses, GPs, and other allied health professionals
* Support service users in managing long-term conditions and preventing hospital admissions
* Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students
* Participate in service development and quality improvement projects
Requirements:
* CORU registration as a Physiotherapist (essential)
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, ideally in primary care or community settings
* Proven experience in managing a broad adult caseload (e.g. MSK, falls prevention, post-surgical rehab)
* Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and teamworking skills
* Full, clean driving licence and access to a car (community travel is essential)
