This specialist hub manages financial risk, liquidity, and treasury operations for a diverse international group.
Operating within a highly skilled team of treasury professionals, you'll be part of a centre of excellence responsible for monitoring financial risks, supporting global operations, and ensuring best-in-class treasury processes.
Your new role As Treasury Accountant, you will support the day-to-day accounting, back-office, and risk management functions within the Group Treasury Centre.
This varied and hands-on role offers strong learning opportunities across multiple treasury disciplines.
You will: Produce monthly management accounts using treasury and general ledger systems.
Deliver detailed analysis across balance sheet and income statement items.
Support the implementation of a new Treasury Management System (design, UAT, cutover).
Reconcile intercompany balances within group reporting systems.
Prepare the daily risk report and conduct payment and risk checks.
Upload FX rates, call account rates, money market rates and IFRS 16 rates.
Prepare statutory accounts, CSO returns, and reports for senior leadership.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support treasury operations.
You'll join a close-knit, expert treasury team where knowledge-sharing and professional growth are strongly encouraged.
What you'll need to succeed A qualified accountant - must be from a Financial Services industry.
Ideally you will have Treasury experience or knowledge of Treasury products, but this is not a must-have.
Newly qualified candidates from the Big Four/Practice who have audited Treasury or Financial Services would be an advantage.
You will not be considered if you are not coming from a Financial Services background.
Must be based in Ireland with experience working in the Irish market and a full visa.
This is a contract role, so no sponsorship is available.
Ability to work in a small team, motivated to ask questions and personable with the ability to build rapport with senior leaders.
What you'll get in return This is a 12-month contract where you will be exposed to all areas of Treasury with the possibility of extension or a permanent role as the team go through lots of changes this year.
You will be rewarded a salary of up to €70k depending on experience.
This role is based in their city centre head off with 3 days in the office.
